How does the program work?
‍Enrolling in the Meltek FREE program gives us the ability to notify you when electricity demand is expected to exceed supply.  That condition triggers “Swarm Events”, which means when your utility will most likely have to resort to turning on fast-acting, but extremely polluting generators. Instead of stressing the grid and polluting the community, Meltek will pay you to change your habits and use less electricity for a few hours a day.

We currently work with Con Edison customers in New York City and Westchester County, PSEG Long Island customers in Long Island and Orange & Rockland Customers in Rockland, Orange and Sullivan Counties. We need your utility account number to track your energy consumption, so we can notify users when to use less electricity, like unplugging appliances, pre-cooling your space & turning off the lights.
